The following is a guide to the paranormal and crypto zoology. I will try to update, correct and add source information (I apologize for the lack of sources, I wrote a lot of this when I was younger and a lot of it long after seeing or reading source, if you know where information came from please inform me. I desire to give due credit. Much of this is common information, but I know that not all of it is and should like to have those sources.)
Key:
* Commonly believed phenomenon or creature in certain regions
** Commonly believed phenomenon or creature
*** Proven phenomenon or creature
***Gargoyles (Church Statues)
Gargoyles are statues found on old churches. There purpose is unknown. They may have been pagan gods to make new converts feel comfortable. They could be for scaring off evil spirits. They could merely be the sculptors’ creativity.
Gargoyles (Creature)
Half-human and half-dragon, gargoyles are among the most rejected of mystical creatures. They are immortal and usually turn to stone by day. They are often intelligent, but rarely associate with humans or dragons.
**Ghosts
Ghosts are among the easiest found paranormal creatures. They are believed to be made of ectoplasm, antimatter or aura. In Japan they some believe them to be a mass of emotion. They can be found almost anywhere man has been considering they are usually dead people. There are three basic ghost categories, ghost of living people, energy ghosts, and the most common ghosts of dead people.
**Ghost Ship
When a ship sinks or disappears completely for unknown often it is spotted again as a ghost ship or some times found completely empty.
*Ghouls
They name ghoul covers a wide variety of monsters. They can be no name, identity less monsters or the minions of vampires who are no longer human, but not yet vampires. These creatures can be made human again but killing the vampire that changed them or the head vampire. Some versions of vampire have no mention of minion, you either are a vampire or you aren’t. Ghouls can also be ghosts who carry chains.
Golden Unicorn, Pegasus or Horseshoes
The golden shoes are made by fairies for a particular creature and posses much magic. In some cases each shoe posses a different power.
**Gray Ladies
Gray ladies have had several roles, some foretell death, other simply haunt places, and a few have even been said to save lives. A few haunt the place they died and show up if another is about to die, as did the one in Ickabod Crane. One of that kind also haunts a British museum. Gray ladies are one of the most common types of ghost and among the hardest to exercise.
Story of Ickabod Crane (Will find more exact source)

They had horse like bodies with feet like an elephant’s and legs were like a goat’s. Their tails and mains were horses’ or a goat’s. (See BRITISH UNICORN.)
*Grims
Grims are the black phantom dogs seen by one or the others around them before the die. They are generally described as huge labs or bear-like dogs. One grim is said to have followed a man for twenty years. Everyone would ask him about his dog and he would reply that he had none.
